Haven’t read this yet (will now), but that excerpt is pretty darn close to the advice my dad gave me as I moved to Atlanta almost 8 years ago, with no job, housing, or pre-existing friends there to start with. “Be open to the possibilities that may unfold around you.” Good as gold.
